Summary: Place a drawing object in your document, and it doesn’t have to stay that way. You can flip a drawing object in either of two directions, as discussed in this tip. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, Word 2003, and Word 2007.)
Once you have created a drawing object in Word or placed into your document a graphic image, you can flip it horizontally or vertically. To flip an object, follow these steps if you are using a version of Word prior to Word 2007:
There is no Drawing toolbar in Word 2007, so flipping is done in a different manner:
