Summary: When your Custom Toolbar has outlived its usefulness you may need to delete it. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 6, Word 95, Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, and Word 2003.)
Word allows you to create your own custom toolbars, as described in previous tips. After your toolbar has outlived its usefulness, you may want to delete it. You cannot delete the built-in toolbars used by Word. If you want to delete one of your custom toolbars, follow these steps:
If you are using Word 6 or Word 95, you delete toolbars in this manner:
