Adding WordArt Libraries
Summary: You can use WordArt to add some interesting effects to your documents. If you want to add to WordArt’s capabilities, though, you are probably out of luck and need to look to a different solution. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, Word 2003, and Word 2007.)
Some people may be interested in adding features to the WordArt tool available with Word. Unfortunately, there are no additional libraries, graphics, or anything else for WordArt. The program is small and self-contained; it does what it was designed to do, and Microsoft hasn't added anything else to it.
Interestingly enough, WordArt is not a built-in part of Word. It is a separate server application that ships with various applications, including Office. Many drawing applications (e.g. CorelDraw, Paint Shop Pro, or Illustrator) have advanced text manipulation features so that would probably be the way to go to get seriously weird.
