Summary: Outlining is a great way to develop the content of your document. If you need to, you can even print the outline and only the outline—without all the content. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, Word 2003, and Word 2007.)
If you are using Outline view, Word will print only the heading levels you have chosen to display. This means you can print an outline for your document easily and quickly. To print a single copy of your outline, follow these steps:
