Summary: Word includes several different ways you can wrap text around a graphic. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, and Word 2003.)
After you have inserted a picture in your document, you can control how surrounding text flows around it, provided you are using Word 97 or a later version. You can either turn wrapping off, or you can cause Word to flow text around the image. To control text wrapping for a graphic, follow these steps:
Once you have selected a wrapping method, you can modify the wrapping points using the techniques described in earlier editions of WordTips. (Modifying the wrapping points allows you to get text very close to your image, including on top of it, if desired.)
