Summary: There are dozens and dozens of settings you can make in Word. Some of them affect only the current document, while others affect the entire system. Figuring out what the options are and how they are set can be a hassle. But, as this tip discloses, there is some free help you can get to decipher your Word settings. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, and Word 2003.)
Christiane wondered if there was a place where she could find specifications of which options in the Options dialog box (Tools | Options) are PC specific, document specific, or roaming login/profile specific.
