Error Generated if Files Opened in Word Session

Greg described a problem he encountered in Word 2002 where the program crashes when exiting Word, but only if he opens a file using File | Open. If he opens the file by using the Windows Explorer (double-clicking on a document icon) he doesn't have the problem.

According to the Microsoft Knowledge Base, this problem is related to the Works in Word Suite add-in. If the add-in is installed on your system, the described error is known to crop up. If your system does not have the add-in installed, then the problem is something that Microsoft hasn't heard of yet.
